The KD 10 fee submitted with your application is a mandatory processing fee. This fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether or not you are admitted to sell at the market.

Payment of the fee does not mean that you are accepted as a Vendor. This fee is separate from the participation fee should you be included in the market to sell and is non-transferable.

Please note that it is a one-time fee.

Qout Market is an artisanal food, farm and craft market.

We do not have a fashion or cosmetics section.

That means that all Vendors must be small to medium sized local companies that fall under the following categories: Farms, Made From Scratch Food Items, Crafts, Natural Bath Products, Art, Children’s Activities, and Street Food.

Aesthetics are an important part of the market as well. All branding and stall designs must visually communicate our market theme.

Kindly be advised that roll up banners are strictly prohibited at the market and are subject to immediate removal by Market Management. It is a violation to not comply.

Multiple government licenses are required in order for the market to run. These are subject to change on short notice. Your participation fee covers all associated costs.

Requests from Management for paperwork are to be treated as an urgent request. Requirements handed down by government may change with short notice, and Vendors are required to comply as this is not something Management controls.

If a Vendor is selected and pays to take part but fails to produce the required paperwork within the timeframe laid out by Management, it may result in removal from the market without a refund.

All food vendors must provide a copy of a valid commercial license in addition to a health license from The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition identical to the name contained in the valid commercial license.

Vendors are selected based on the quality and uniqueness of their concept, product, branding, packaging, presentation but also personality and what they bring to the Qout Market community.

As the organizers, we see how all the Vendors fit together to form a customer experience. We select Vendors based on creating a whole picture that best communicates the Qout Market brand.

The types of concepts we welcome must be connected to the theme. With limited space, all applicants must submit competitive ideas in order to stand out. Every other applicant is competition for a space.

Franchises are not chosen as a vendor if there is a local alternative. Please keep this in mind if you are a franchise before applying.

Should you have a unique idea for a special installation, please include as many details as possible. We may allow special installations/activations by franchises if the idea interests us and space allows.

A Vendor may select the category/section during the signup process, but a category will be allocated by Qout Market Management.

Qout is a curated market. Vendors are selected based on their specific concept or product. Vendor is not permitted to sell items that are not already approved of by Organizer, nor is Vendor allowed to use a different brand name at the market.

Once selected, you will be sent info and a payment link via email. Should you not wish to take part, a response is required within three days so as to give the next vendor a chance to take part in your place.

Market hours are 9am to 5pm. Craft Fair hours are 8pm to 12am. Vendor must be completely set up by the time the market opens at 9 am and may not leave before 5pm. (8pm to 12am, for the craft fair.)

If you are not fully set up and open for business by 9am (8pm) or sell beyond 5pm (12am) you will forfeit your security deposit. You may not leave early if you sell out.

Misrepresentation of your brand is a violation of our terms and conditions and will result in immediate termination. The Vendor is not permitted to give away their spot or sublet to someone else.

The business owners themselves must be present for the entire duration of the market to sell and interact with customers, and prepare food in case needed, even in case of selling out before closing.

It is a violation for the business owner to not be present for the duration of the entire market.

Kindly be advised that it is not permitted to distribute samples or promotional material outside of your assigned space.

If you are a regular vendor in the tent category, your entire set up must fit under and within the borders of our market tent. It is a 3×3 with a height of 1.9m

Violation of any the above terms carry penalties that range from forfeiting of the security deposit to immediate termination and/or black listing.

Vendor will be assigned a location at the market by Management, and it may change from market to market. The layout will be sent to Vendor no sooner than a few days before market day. You may not choose your location at the market, it will be assigned.

The venue will usually be ready for set up 48 hours before the market. Vendor’s full set up must be in line with a farmers market theme and shall be at the Vendor’s expense.

You must adhere to the set up day and hours sent via email when our team will be there to monitor and assist.

You MUST have a representative of your brand on-site during set up and removal who has the information that was agreed upon with you in general terms plus the exact location and orientation of your booth. Sending third-party contractors alone is a violation of our terms and we will withhold your security deposit.

Qout Market bears no liability for any damages sustained during the set up and removal of your booth.

Regular vendors must ensure their setup remains inside the borders of the assigned tent. It is a requirement to use the Qout Market branded tent as part of your set up if one is provided for you.

Kindly be advised that roll-up banners are strictly prohibited. They are subject to immediate removal by Management. Refusal to comply will result in a forfeit of your security deposit.

Vendor must be completely set up by the time the market opens at 9 am. If you are not fully set up and open for business by 9am you will forfeit your security deposit.

Even if a Vendor sells out, they must remain present until 5pm. Leaving early will result in a forfeit of your security deposit.

Our Vendors are required to keep their stall clean and damage-free for the duration of the market and at time of handover. The space must be returned at the end of market day as it was received, otherwise the security deposit will not be returned.

Vendor participation will not be confirmed until payment has been received. Your participation fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to another month or vendor.

Our social media platforms are used to promote the market as a whole. We may elect to highlight a vendor from time to time but it is not mandatory or included in your participation fee to be featured. We do so at our own discretion.

A security deposit fee will be processed at the time of registration and returned to the Vendor at the end of the season should they not be found in violation of Qout Market terms and conditions.

If you are in the market more than once with no violations, the deposit is valid until the season ends.

If the damages exceed the security deposit amount, the Vendor will be billed the difference. This amount is non-negotiable as it handed to us by our Venue.

It is also a violation to disobey any communication from the Qout Market team, whether it is in person or via email.

Refunds will be initiated within a month or two after season close. The amount paid will be returned to the same account used for the original transaction.

A refund email will be generated and it is Vendor responsibility to follow up with their bank. There can be no claim to it when the following season begins.

As with all farmers markets around the world – the market will run come rain or shine. You will not be eligible for a refund unless Management deems it necessary and reschedules the event. You agree that it is up to Management to decide how to handle the situation, and will have no grounds to claim a refund unless it is deemed necessary.

As our Vendor community is hand-picked for both product and personality, we expect all partipants to conduct themselves in a respectful manner.

Qout Market Management reserves the right to investigate any complaints with consequences that may include but are not limited to: withholding of security deposit, termination of participation, and banning from future participation.

By becoming a Vendor, you agree to allow us to keep our community safe and comfortable by taking any action we deem necessary.

We do not regulate pricing of your product as we function within the free market system, however, it is a violation of our terms and conditions to increase prices of similar products market-to-market. This affects the customer experience and reflects negatively on the Qout Market community as a whole.
