A Sea Of Fairy Lights
The Qout Market art, craft and design fair was created in Ramadan 2025 to meet increasing demand in our main season for a space in the crafts section.
As the main season is a daytime affair, we decided to turn the craft fair into a two-night event during Ramadan – the first edition of which took place at JACC in March of 2025.
The event features art, crafts, ceramics, furniture and objects along with light refreshments vendors under a sea of colored fairy lights.
The market normally takes place on Saturdays during the cooler months of the year in an urban location.
It was meant to form a microcosm of all the wonderful people and things that make Kuwait, Kuwait. Vendors are carefully chosen for their product and passion, but most importantly their character and commitment to this sense of community.

Qout Market combines local farm produce, artisanal food products, and crafts with a street food section aimed at highlighting the culinary diversity of our food community. Children have a dedicated section for enriching activities. Then of course, there’s the live music!
We seek to empower the small food producer, the craftsperson, the artist, the small-scale farmer, the musician looking for an audience, the up-and-coming chef and even the established chef looking for a creative outlet. By providing a quality platform and carefully curating the Qout Market vendor family we are challenging the local community to step forward with their best. Small businesses are provided the opportunity to perform at their finest and engage with a captive audience.
A coming together of such wonderful products and producers is a siren song for the curious. We work tirelessly to seek out the unique. By maintaining standards, we keep visitors hungry and curious. The market has become both a place to spend a sunny Saturday on a journey of discovery and a place to socialize. The way we see it, it is a recipe for magic.
